Audience: This workshop is open to any skill level, and no prior Adobe Photoshop knowledge is necessary.
Workshop Description: Join award-winning Illustrator and Visual Development Artist Dan Baldwin for a hands-on demonstration into the worlds of character design and digital painting. In this interactive session you will learn how Dan approaches his process from concept to final color, and how he melds traditional painting techniques with Photoshop. Topics will include: tips on developing appealing characters, sketching techniques, establishing color strategies with lighting, mark making and brushes, and detailing your painting.
During this session, you can work alongside Dan with the provided source files or develop your very own character live!
